Released in 1963 and produced by George Martin, Please Please Me was the first British album by The Beatles.  It was recorded at EMI Studios in 14 consecutive hours.  Paul fells that this album best represents The Beatles style.

This album came out on the Parlophone label, and the tracks are very similar to that of "Introducing The Beatles",  with just about half of the songs being "McCartney-Lennon" compositions.

In a stereo version of the title track "Please Please Me " a mistake can be heard when John and Paul sing different words.

This album wasn't released in the US until 1987.
